The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed in regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
